I went through a couple of months of PT and medications to see if surgery could be avoided. Under Dr. Blau's directions, we decided, after no improvement, hip surgery was the best option. I'm a cyclist and wanted to return to normal. We scheduled surgery within 6 weeks and he specializes in the posterior approach, which I chose for its lower risk factors. It went very well and in less than 5 weeks I was able to get back on my bike. Dr. Blau did a great job!

I went to see Dr. Blau a few months ago for hip pain. He did one set of injections on me and I was better within days and I am still pain-free months later. I would highly recommend this Dr to anyone who needs help with back or hip pain. He really seemed to care about me and about educating me regarding my hip problem. I found him to be a very down-to-earth and non-judgemental doctor who really wants to help.
